Courtney Takabayashi

Courtney Takabayashi was born and raised in Hawai'i. She received a BA and MA in English from the University of Hawaii. In 2007, she won the University of Hawaii and Kumu Kahua Theatre's annual playwriting contest. In 2014, her short, "March On," won first place in the Halloween Video Contest sponsored by the Honolulu Star-Advertiser and Hawaii News Now. Most recently, in 2016, she participated in Creative Lab Hawaii's Writer's Immersive, a State of Hawaii program that nurtures creative entrepreneurs. She is Co-Literary Director of Owl's March.
